Hello, I am Captain Rob Gorta.

I am a full time charter Captain in the Tampa Bay area. This keeps me on the water 5 - 6 days a week. My boat is a 17' Back Country Flats Skiff with a 115 horsepower Yamaha. I can take 1 - 3 people on 1/2 day, 3/4 day or full day charter.

Tampa Bay holds many species of game fish. Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Permit, Pompano, Cobia and a few others. I am a charter Captain because of the love of fishing and having the challenge to put clients on fish.

Captain Rob Gorta of the "Snook Hooker" has become a well known guide in the Tampa Bay area. After seven years in the Coast Guard, Captain Rob left to do what he knows and loves best - "Fishing".
