A Few Words About The Captain
| Capt. Wendell has been fishing this area for
over 30 years. His home port is in Crystal
Beach, between Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.
Being a full time captain he
is on the water daily and knows where the fish are.
It doesn't matter if you are a novice or an
accomplished angler, you can enjoy a variety of
fishing choices and if you need lessons, the
Capt. will be happy to provide you with
in-depth fishing instruction.
He specializes in all the
popular inshore species like trout, snook, reds, kingfish, sharks
and others.
Capt. Wendell is a native Floridian who
offers a relaxed, courteous, and informative
outing on the water. You can learn more in one
day with the Capt. about fishing the west coast
of Florida than you can on your own in years.
The Capt. specializes in tarpon fishing in
the Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor area. You can
fish not only in the pass but in the shallower
waters of the Harbor. Things are very relaxed
here since there are very few boats in this
area. The shallow water causes the tarpon to
make many gill rattling jumps and extremely
long runs and they tend to be larger.
