Captain
Sergio Atanes
Professional Fisherman, Radio Show Host, Outdoor Writer
Captain Sergio Atanes has been a fishing
guide for more than 20 years. He is a light tackle
expert for snook, redfish, tarpon and cobia in the
Tampa Bay area. Winner of more than 15 tournaments
within the last 10 years.
Sergio's expertise extends to the educational
field, where he is president and owner of S &
I Charters, Inc. fishing school and guide service.
He is a field tester and pro-staff member for many
fishing tackle and boating companies including Daiwa,
Scotties, Lowrance, Mercury Outboard, Boston Whaler,
MirrOlure, 12 Fathom Jigs, Magic Tilt Trailers, Motor
Guide, Eagle Claw and Yo-Zuri. He has been co-host
of several fishing segments on CBS and NBC in his
local market.
Sergio is a member of the Florida
Guides Association, Florida Outdoor Writers Association,
Florida Conservation Association and International
Game Fish Association. He is a guest lecturer at fishing
clubs, civic groups and boat shows.
