Capt. Sergio’s Fishing School will cover some of the basics and advance methods of fishing. We have 6 local captains working with Capt. Sergio, each teaching their own techniques to help you catch more fish. A 2-day class hands on and power point format.
Some of the items covered in the class:

Rigging techniques (knot tying-leaders-hooks-tackle)

Our class covers areas to fish both for shore anglers and boaters

When and where to fish (from Double Branch to Fort DeSoto)

How to catch Snook-Redfish-Trout-Cobia-Flounder-Mackerel-Tarpon

Understanding Tides and Solunar Tables and making them work for you
-
How to throw a bait net
The class starts at 11:00 a.m. Saturday and runs through 3 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Sunday class starts at 10:00 a,m. and runs through 2 p.m.
Cost $60.00 for adults and $40.00 for kids 15 and under, lunch is included.
Class is limited to 30 students on a first come bases.

2:30 p.m. Capt. Edward Caldwell (AKA Mr. Snook)

3:00 p.m. Cast netting class (learn from the pros).
October 18th Sunday

10:00 a.m. Fort DeSoto area (Capt. Sergio Atanes).

11:00 am. Local knowledge (Capt. Charlie Howell).

Noon: Break

1:00 p.m. Lower Tampa Bay (Capt. Sergio Atanes)

2:00 p.m. North Tampa Bay-Double Branch to Howard Frankland area (Capt. Cristian Minami & Capt. Kenny Smith).
